SMARTfence® Silt Fence is a structurally enhanced, heavy-duty silt fence that eliminates the need for reinforced wire fence backing. Designed using a value engineering approach, it is equivalent in strength and stiffness to that of chain-link or wire-backed silt fence, but costs less and uses less material.

SMARTfence Silt Fence is a woven geotextile fence that withstands high-tensile stresses and prevents excessive material elongation and strain. As a result, it resists fence deflection and ultimate failure due to ripping, sagging, or overturning from forces associated with backwater depths, debris flows, and overtopping.

SMARTfence Silt Fence is available in two sizes:

• 36″ pre-attached in 50-foot rolls
• 42″ in 100-foot rolls

Both SMARTfence 36 and SMARTfence 42 are 100% American-made and NTPEP-compliant products.
