Whether constructing a retaining wall or reinforcing a slope, using wire forms for earth stabilization is a reliable solution. The rigid nature of welded Wire Forms ensures the wall or slope remains in place while dirt or fill is packed within. Incorporating an erosion control mat, such as a coir mat, will prevent the fill from washing away. The wire form is attached to a geogrid plastic netting which acts as an anchor for the entire slope.

When determining the facade of the retaining wall or slope, consider its placement. For example, if it is a more industrial or hidden location, it may not be necessary to incorporate exterior matting. Alternatively, if the wire forms for earth stabilization exist in a highly visible area, a vegetation mat is preferred over the segmental block.
